Don't Mention The War - Part 38

Misery continues for the Europeans and their Japanese trading partners.  Only bright part was a failure by the Soviet Baltic Front armies to make any headway.  But in the Ukraine the defenders are being slowly eroded and the front is becoming like a Swiss cheese.  This is occurring even though many Soviet forces have gone east to try and bully the Japanese into going to war.

Japanese are busy on the border with the USSR,
driving around and waving flags
to make the Commies think there are more of them than there really are.

In the West the US Imperialists continue to push back the defenders of free Belgium, capturing Antwerp.

They have swept the Dalmatian coast securing all the holiday spots and even gone so far as to invade and conquer Albania (there were rumours that the Italian democratically elected President kept a back up wine cellar and mistress in Tirana).

The plan to disguise themselves using traditional Albanian dress
was not popular with the Italians defenders.
However it did give the Imperialist invaders a bit of a shock.

The situation in Italy is getting serious and Naples and Taranto are both threatened, but the threat is hopefully both ways.

European oil production has also been hard hit by nefarious aerial bombing.

Testing out the new ground based Messerschmitt.
It uses up the excess pilots, saves on parachute silk,
avoids being shot down (although it can be shot up)
and best of all, doesn't use much oil.
