Three Bren Carriers, two 25pdrs and an A13 Mk II

More kit for my Western Desert Force that has been at the 99% complete stage for a while and now finally reached tipping point.


These have the same paint scheme as the cruiser tanks with comparable lack of markings.




I'm still not totally happy with the basing 
and might add a tuft or two and maybe some more sandy texture.



This guy is as light as a feather compared to the other tanks I have just finished.  
The Zvezda A13 is a simple kit, and in that lies its elegance.  
Just wish I'd added in some weight.

      Thanks. I'm currently seeing what kind of forces I can create and what kit I'm short of (definitely trucks)

      Thanks. The photos of the 25pdrs are taken with a flash, which I realised wasn't necessary given the lovely full sun the day was providing. Spring at last!

      Thanks. It's been a favourite since I first opened a packet of Airfix 8th Army figures, plus my dad was there during the war.

      Thanks Phil. I splurged today and bought a whole lot of trucks and armoured cars to round out the force. I just need to maintain the momentum.
