World in Flames 28

Finally 1941 came to an end.

China had no production thanks to a last minute strategic bombing campaign by the Japanese.  USSR was able to build with 19 points and it all went into infantry of varying flavours, nearly all cheap.

The final Axis impulse for 1941 saw a key oil field captured on the Pacific map opening the way to the interior and splitting the USSR in two.

The German High Seas Fleet sailed at the end of the turn and through a series of successful search rolls (I think it was four in total) stopped all the convoys coming into the UK.

1942 gets off to a great start with clear weather everywhere except for rain (i.e. mud) in the Arctic.  At least this allows the Soviet to complete the retreat to the mountain range.

The US failed to get a declaration of war on Germany and Italy approved.
