My Little Carthaginian Army

All done.

All packed up until COVID19 has gone away,
and the Carthaginians can come out to play.
Note the drawer with the extra height,
perfect to house the pachyderms.

  1. It is always a joy to complete an army, especially when it is such a splendid looking army too.

    1. Yes, a sense of accomplishment, even closure. I've always wanted a Carthaginian army and being able to obtain this one from my friend Mark Woods who had obviously put a lot of care and attention in to it makes it special.

Now it is rebased and ready for action.

    1. Thanks. I was lucky to acquire it. Hopefully socialising restrictions will be lifted one day and I will be able to get it on to the table top with a real opponent, not just for a solitary parade.

  4. Nice. Shame I got rid of my Romans. Oh well, we could always do 6mm!

    1. I'm glad you approve. Pity I missed out on your Romans. My Byzantines will have to fill in until I can get something more appropriate.

And as you say, there is always 6mm.

I must get back to trying out SPI's old Punic Wars boardgame for suitability to run a campaign. Stay tuned.
