Don't Mention The War - Part 22

November/December 1942 was a mix of snow and blizzard.  The Communists tired to launch some attacks, but only aircraft got into action.

Aircraft losses now mean the Germans have four pilots per plane,
the problem being how to fit them all in!

The Axis make no attacks, saving up their resources in order to liberate Ukraine and taking advantage of the short turn to stockpile oil.

Snow krieg

WiF has rules for aligning Ukraine.   First you have to hold Kyiv.  Then you have to spend 15 BPs (German current max build is 38).  Then you have to return to the force pool one of each type of SS corps.  These work out at 29 BPs and looks like this:

There are a few options with the militia and mountain units.  Some units are not at the front and so the damage is limited, however a few are and it is going to be tricky plugging the resultant gaps.  Given the real world situation, I am hoping it will please Lady Lucky.  I need it as 1943 has dawned crisp and frosty, ideal time for a Communist winter offensive.

Production

The lend of 1 oil and 1 resource to Italy was maintained.  The 15 BP spent on Ukraine was opportune as there wasn't much left to build (although some O chits would be handy).
