Just a game to introduce Stefan to Basic Impetus. He ran my Arabs, including one of the newly finished Dailami units against my Byzantines. The main instruction I gave him was to throw sixes on combat rolls and ones on Cohesion Tests. He didn't take this advice.
Out scouted the Arabs deploy between a lake and some difficult ground.
The Byzantines take advantage of deploying second
and mass on the Arab's left.

Byzantine archery proves very effective and they move in for the kill.
The Arab left collapses along with their general.
Time for some readjustment.
The Dailami try and get into action.
They fail to make an impact
(but to be fair, we also forget they had PBW that we should have included).
The Byzantines succeed in doing enough damage to the Arabs
to break their morale and secure a victory.
