  1. I still have my copy of the Minifigs catalogue from over 40 years ago. It seems that the range has changed a little since - or the catalogue has. Or both. I looked at the available range in 15mm, hoping to fill in some gaps in my 1000AD 'Barbarian' armies (I particularly wanted some Normans or Lombards). The range seems to have become much reduced in certain areas - not much left that would have been a good 'fit'. Pity, really, but it helped my decision that I would remain content with what I have. I dare say the ranges for the more popular periods and armies remain undiminished!

I have found some wheels to make at least one Pecheneg war wagon, though!
    Cheers,
    Ion

    1. Via a different medium I had a comment from a chap I used to game with 40 years ago who said he "bought a bunch of tin soldier hoplites, thorakitai, cavalry, indians and elephants, which gave me a mixed minifig-tin soldier mess." Matching figures is a challenge. Some old figures have attracted a price premium as collector's items, but really I expect there are many gathering dust or worse.
