Burgundian Ordonnance versus Hundred Years War English

Time for my Burgundians to face Dave's English.

The Burgundians out scouted the English.
Some boggy ground on the left and a wood on the right.

The English advance and the Burgundians shuffle forward a bit to get them in range.

The English get a couple of lucky shots,
but the Burgundian artillery starts to take a toll

The Burgundian artillery has the range now and blasts away.
Their longbow and crossbowmen have advanced to add fire on the flanks.

English longbow are blown away as they try and move units up to cover their flanks.

The English bravely press on.

And on, suffering all the way.

All over, the Burgundians were hardly scratched.

    1. 15mm. Basic Impetus 2.0 works fine for medieval as well as ancient armies, but games are best when armies are contemporary.

I hope you get as much enjoyment from your blog as I do mine. I find it has really expanded my gaming pleasure.
