Don't Mention The War - Part 25

March/April 1943 turned out to be a mega long exhausting session.  So long that Germany ran out of oil. The weather was every season and went on for one impulse too long,

However Lady Lucky kept the Bolsheviks out of the Ukraine, not only seeing Germany recapture a hex that had been taken earlier in the turn, but giving the Soviet aggressors a bloody nose when they tried to attack the Ukrainian Kyiv militia.

However it wasn't all good news.  The extended turn and bouts of intermittent good weather enabled the Imperialists to storm Copenhagen, reducing the city to ruins.

But out of the ruins there will arise...
A new army!

And being made of plastic it will last well over a thousand years.

Oil is now critical, especially after the dastardly Imperialist bombed the refinery in Austria.  At least resources are now coming in from Ukraine, offsetting the loss of Scandinavian resources.

Still lending 1 oil and 1 resource to Italy.  The problem with oil is that usage went up 50% in 1943.  With 6 oil Germany can only do 4 land impulses.  Summer 1943 is going to be tricky.  The first impulse of May.June is fine everywhere.  At least the Europeans won the initiative.
