In my first game of the club's Basic Impetus competition I was a few sixes short of victory. So it goes.
Deployment
Not very imaginative
but I'd been out scouted.
It was an omen!
But still my army gets off to a promising start
My covering skirmishers have been blown away
but they had served their purpose
and we were ready to strike
It could have gone better
It could have gone a lot better
It is in the balance
but I need some luck
if I am to snatch victory
Well, at least we fought a good fight
"A few sixes short of victory." I know the feeling!
