Guns of August - 1915

In our next session of this classic game Richard and I almost completed a whole year.  Strangely, not much changed.


Italy has entered the war, drawing away Austrian forces from the Russian Front, however the Germans have shifted troops to fight the Russians and made some progress towards capturing Warsaw, but not quite there yet.

Things will get interesting when Rumania enters the war.

      Having read The Sleepwalkers, it was a common belief that if war was to occur over posturing in the Balkans, it would just be a short war and a good war at that, full of glory and daring do! Obviously no lessons learnt from the Boer War.
