WBTS - User Submission Declined

:-(

STP*

I think what I was trying to post to BG went through as a submission, not just a simple forum comment/post which was all I intended.  Thanks to the comments this post has generated, I have now been able to achieve what I wanted via Grognard.com (which linked to BG).

So all's well that ends well.

* Stop the Press or in this case Stop the Post.  Although, doing a google on the acronym produces nothing like what I intended...  But Stop the Presses is what I mean.

Eh, not Stand To Pee or Society for Threatened People.

    1. I was only trying to let people know that a classic boardgame was being played and written up :-(

      Shocked, angry and saddened. Sigh.

Thanks for your comment. Simon and I are really enjoying the game and I'm enjoying blogging about it. The boardgamegeek community will have to remain in ignorance.

    5. Looks great and better still they took my post with no issues.

Hmm, maybe that was where I went wrong with BG. All I wanted to do was a post, but had somehow framed it as an article. Oh well.

LOL - I now see that this comment has ended up on BG as I originally intended. Oh well. I live and learn.

  3. I'm afraid I have to disagree with Prufrock's observation about "a bit of arrogance at BGG at times." There is a LOT of arrogance at BGG quite a bit of the time. I go there for information on occasion, but I no longer make any contributions. Just too much snottiness, not to mention favoritism practiced by the moderators on behalf of their chosen few.

    1. I have to admit I was shocked, but moving on now. I've found the site very helpful and thought I would give a bit back. Declined... So it goes.

Thanks for your comment Chris, much appreciated.

  4. I had a photo of a Machinas game rejected because one of the cars has a Confederate flag painted on it :)

    1. Couldn't they have photoshopped a swastika over it?
