One Chariot A Race Does Not Make or This Is Not Ben Hur

I've always wanted to make the Airfix Romans' chariot and finally I have done so.

I had some grand ideas (white horses, reins and whip)

I ended up with simple black horses, but did try for an interesting design on the chariot
using a picture of the Gorgon's head I found and had fun resizing.

The one innovative thing I did was to give the chariot a metal floor and mount the driver on a piece of magnetic sheet.

It's had a good coat of Plasti-Dip and is now ready for racing.

Is now a good time to confess I haven't seen the movie?
