Hoplites with fancy shields

Normally I hand paint shields, but after seeing what some guys at the club had done with transfers and paper, I decided to give it ago.

Not as fiddly as I feared.


And tonight they debuted on the tabletop...

    Not bad at all! Honestly, I don't know how you guys do it, either painting these designs by hand or applying transfers. In any case, the miniatures look great.

      Thanks. Good lighting is essential, along with a steady hand and decent tools, but in this case, it was mainly inspiration from what others had done.
