Yes, a sense of accomplishment, even closure. I've always wanted a Carthaginian army and being able to obtain this one from my friend Mark Woods who had obviously put a lot of care and attention in to it makes it special.
Thanks. I was lucky to acquire it. Hopefully socialising restrictions will be lifted one day and I will be able to get it on to the table top with a real opponent, not just for a solitary parade.
It is always a joy to complete an army, especially when it is such a splendid looking army too.

DeleteNow it is rebased and ready for action.
Always glad to look at Carthaginian armies, and this one is superb!

DeleteVery nice! This is a rewarding accomplishment to finish off an army.
ReplyDeleteThanks. They do look good all together, completed.
DeleteNice. Shame I got rid of my Romans. Oh well, we could always do 6mm!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you approve. Pity I missed out on your Romans. My Byzantines will have to fill in until I can get something more appropriate.
DeleteAnd as you say, there is always 6mm.
I must get back to trying out SPI's old Punic Wars boardgame for suitability to run a campaign. Stay tuned.
