In our next learning session we completed the German motorized move, the Soviet motorised move (which had restrictions, most of which we remembered), Soviet combat and Soviet move.
The four attacks by the Soviets probably shouldn't have happened. First: Soviet motorised units can only move on the first turn if they attack. Second: everywhere is considered to suffer air interdiction and so they couldn't use road movement bonus. These are just first turn special rules and we missed the second one. Regardless it gave us some more combat experience. As it was the attacks were rather ordinary.
