World in Flames 37

Well the good news is that the summer of 42 is over.

The Ural pocket still holds, but an essential convoy in the Caspian Sea was destroyed (my 6 FTR failing to stop an Italian 3 NAV that proceeded to shoot down my fighter and then bomb the convoys to obileration).  On a positive note the Soviet Baltic Fleet sortied and sank the German convoys.

The only other positive news was more partisans appeared in China.

There have been very few partisans in Russia,

but that central pocket is certainly pinning down some units

that otherwise would have been on partisan duty.
