And just to make my day, China, which had been holding out nicely,
lost another hex bringing the Japanese closer to its second to last factory.
Reinforcing China has become very difficult.
When will the US enter? We hear they are rebasing their fleet to Pearl Harbour.
Elsewhere not much happened as the Commonwealth took a pass (to aid end of turn) and the Japanese failed to find any targets (except in China, eventually).
Looking very evil for the Soviets. If I'm reading the map correctly, there's diddly squat between somewhere east of Moscow, and the surrounded garrison of Leningrad. Does the game include a 'miracle' phase...?
ReplyDeleteMiracles would have to be short turns and bad weather, there are no special reinforcements to arrive or special rules. I have to defend in the south, to stop the Axis being able to align Turkey and defend the Urals (where all the Soviet factories have been railed to and are about to come back on line) and hope that the Allies can open up some Lend Lease arrangements.
