Ukraine 43 - Part Three

Today we finished the game.  There is sudden death if you get a difference of six or more between the VPs achieved and the VP Benchmark.

End of Axis Turn 8

 I desperately needed another VP and Konstantinovka was it.  

I failed, but was able to use Zhukov to reroll and get the desired outcome.

The Axis counterattacked. 

They had two chances to retake VP locations.

Their attack on Sumy was defeated by a determined defence, 

but the defenders of Slavyansk were overcome by Tiger Tanks 

(not that they actually affected the roll) 

Very exciting game and superb new mechanics.  I'm looking forward to Normandy 44.
