Black Sheep versus White Sheep

First up apologies to any Turkomen, their descendants or Turkophiles reading this post.  I don't have the correct figures but was happy to cobble together two armies in order to have a game of DBA themed to my two new camps (see previous post).

I'm still using DBA 2.2 and the armies are IV/77 Black Sheep and White Sheep Turkoman.  I knew nothing about this army, but thanks to Mr Google and Ms Wiki I now know (as much as you can "know" anything you read on the Internet) the following:

The Kara Koyunlu or Qara Qoyunlu, also called the Black Sheep Turkomans (Persian: قرا قویونلو‎‎), were a Shi'a Oghuz Turkic tribal federation that ruled over the territory comprising present-day Azerbaijan,Armenia (1406), northwestern Iran, eastern Turkey, and northeastern Iraq from about 1375 to 1468.

The Ağ Qoyunlu or Ak Koyunlu, also called the White Sheep Turkomans (Persian: آق‌ قویونلو‎‎ Āq Quyūnlū), was a Sunni Oghuz Turkic tribal federation that ruled present-day Azerbaijan, Armenia, Eastern Turkey, part of Iran, and northern Iraq from 1378 to 1501

I took the White Sheep with a force made up predominantly from my Dark Ages figures.

Mark B was the Black Sheep using my Medieval figures

The Black Sheep tried to outflank.

All I needed to do was push them back...

Not on that roll.

My Light Horse go in to tackle the Black Sheep hordes.

I was able to catch an enemy Light Horse that had strayed a bit too close

But then my General got in trouble.  Luckily the main enemy body was just out of range,

With just a slight advantage, all it took were a series of ones to give me two extra kills and victory.
