The pocket is shrinking and its blockage of the Axis supply lines has been reduced, but it is still there. The Soviets have also been able to establish a strong defensive line.
Down south the Soviets have recaptured Mariupol. Melitopol continues to hold out, thanks to some timely resupply (there is a result on the reinforcement table for the Soviets that says they can put any unit or stack in supply and that was what they got this turn),
