That's not a cannon

Reinforcements for my Burgundians.

Light artillery or rather organ guns.

But that's not a cannon.

This is a cannon.

Or rather bombard.

Heavy artillery.

I've rarely used artillery in Field of Glory and been disappointed when I have, however I was short these two bases and now can make up a more formidable battery.

  1. The only artillery I've taken in FoG:AM is light artillery (organ guns) with my Swiss. Just for the sake of using the toys I have rather than for any tactical purposes.

Artillery in FoG:R is another matter altogether :)

    1. Thanks. I will have to check out FoG:R. One of the reasons I started this army was the potential to use it for Renaissance wargames (which were WRG when I started)

  2. Nicely done, I game in 15mm and have never managed to make artillery work in my ancient period games.

    1. I checked the FoG:R army lists and Burgundian Ordonnance do not feature so no immediate opportunity for my army (unlike in the WRG days when it was the last in Ancients Book Three and first in the Renaissance lists)
