As I confessed, I cheated (but I do like the HAT figures).

And yes, I've seen your post and drew inspiration from it.Sun of Yorkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07315805432481558574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-430244424351512966.post-73707934931022895162017-11-04T07:27:43.154+08:002017-11-04T07:27:43.154+08:00I do like these guys - very nice and colourful. J...I do like these guys - very nice and colourful. Just the way I like my war games armies.

I also used 6 packets of Airfix Romans to build a DBA army: 4 elements of red shields, 4 elements of white shields, and an auxiliary group of 4 elements with round green shields. Other figures were done up as velites wielding javelins. The top half of a Roman Soldier surmounting the bottom half of a US cavalryman became horsemen riding Airfix British Napoleonic artillery draught horses. I think I wrote a blog entry about them a couple of years or so back. Archduke Piccolohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15533325665451889661noreply@blogger.com
