They are easy to modify however (mostly - would have liked more variety in the cavalry, although the companions are decent).Sun of Yorkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07315805432481558574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-430244424351512966.post-32874799996786248592017-04-27T20:44:18.291+08:002017-04-27T20:44:18.291+08:00They certainly have character, without being caric...They certainly have character, without being caricatures.

These figures were all painted before I perfected the flesh wash technique I now use. I have recently painted up some Tin Soldier figures for an Impetus base and they took the flesh wash well.Sun of Yorkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07315805432481558574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-430244424351512966.post-11350043301073935862017-04-27T19:51:16.291+08:002017-04-27T19:51:16.291+08:00Great old Tin Soldier minis gosh i used to love th...Great old Tin Soldier minis gosh i used to love these. the detail incised into the master came through and it made using a wash a simple way of taking my poor paint job to a better level.chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13028920392149987916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-430244424351512966.post-57234067483060999252017-04-27T19:09:25.739+08:002017-04-27T19:09:25.739+08:00Yes, I agree. I rebelled with my Napoleonic and ACW 15mm armies and have tried a variety of brands, although I'm fond of Old Glory and ABs.
