I am tempted to play with double the number or rather having two models representing one battery. Just need to give it some thought.Sun of Yorkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07315805432481558574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-430244424351512966.post-72096245962263271032018-07-23T22:38:55.653+08:002018-07-23T22:38:55.653+08:00Thanks. The new version just adds some complexity with weapon and gun types, although I think the way it handles green troops etc is an improvement. Fire combat seem improved as well. So, all in all, an improvement.Sun of Yorkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07315805432481558574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-430244424351512966.post-66389267266072800012018-07-23T20:08:37.451+08:002018-07-23T20:08:37.451+08:00Thanks.

It is actually the reverse side of some lino offcuts done up with cheap paint.

The breakthrough marker is by Eureka or AB. Sadly in the game it is only used very briefly.

In the heat of the game was forgetting to keep note of the number of bases and thought a bit of extra visual aid would be a help. I'm planning to replay in August so we might see then.Sun of Yorkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07315805432481558574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-430244424351512966.post-83299778587973123112018-06-26T08:08:33.350+08:002018-06-26T08:08:33.350+08:00An engaging narrative and a fine set-up - the acti...An engaging narrative and a fine set-up - the action seems to have gone off well, even with the mistakes in the play mechanics. The result was reasonable, and what Joe Johnston would have had in mind.

I quite like the Fire and Fury game system, at least to play. My one caveat is that one seems to require a heck of a lot of cannon....
Archduke Piccolohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15533325665451889661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-430244424351512966.post-36408203080821929762018-06-24T22:05:22.958+08:002018-06-24T22:05:22.958+08:00Excellent action! The CSA command stand where the guy is standing over a USA flag is a great touch.

Don’t know why you’d need additional markers for fresh/worn/spent as the number of stands should be easy enough, but nothing wrong with some extra memory aides.
Great post!
