I'm a sucker for an interesting set of rules, but ones for which I don't have to spend tedious amounts of time finding and painting figures go to the head of the queue. But I'm into the aesthetics enough that I'll try to avoid using unpainted or 'incorrect' figures if I can, even if I just use paper figures. I'm not into the aesthetics so much that the toys or scenery have to be museum diorama perfect, though; I like stuff that's practical to store and can be used for different things.Kaptain Koboldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17082772546044655044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-430244424351512966.post-27351594741348124122017-07-07T03:49:32.940+08:002017-07-07T03:49:32.940+08:00An interesting post! For me, it's the figures first and foremost, followed by practical (somewhat stylized) tabletop scenery, and fairly simple Featherstonian rules that can be kept to one or two pages and tinkered with easily until one arrives at just the sort of game he or she is after. But I could easily look at nicely painted figures, discuss painting techniques, and work on improving my own approach until the cows come home. Wargaming is indeed a wonderful pastime.

Best Regards,

StokesWSTKS-FM Worldwidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14173042438761572040noreply@blogger.com
